Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions, answered

Everything you need to know about Chaldean numerology, our tools, payments, and how your numbers are read.

Payments & Trust
01 Is my payment secure? +

All payments are processed by Razorpay — India's leading payment gateway, PCI-DSS compliant. AstroSeemant never sees or stores your card details. Your transaction is encrypted end-to-end.

02 What do I get after paying? +

Your report appears instantly on screen the moment payment is confirmed — no waiting, no refresh needed. A full copy is also sent to the email address you provide. You can read it on screen, download it, or print it.

03 What if I don't receive my email report? +

Please check your spam or promotions folder first — automated emails sometimes land there. If it's still missing, write to consult@astroseemant.com with your Razorpay payment ID (shown on screen after payment) and we will resend it promptly.

04 Can I get a refund? +

Reports are generated instantly on payment and cannot be returned like a physical product. However, if there is a genuine technical issue — report not generated, wrong output — write to consult@astroseemant.com with your payment ID and we will resolve it personally.

05 Is my personal data — name, date of birth — stored or shared? +

Your name and date of birth are used solely to generate your report. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any other purpose. AstroSeemant is a privacy-first platform.

06 Who is behind AstroSeemant? +

AstroSeemant is built by Seemant Maharana — Jyotisha Visharada with over 20 years of Chaldean numerology practice, and Honorary Secretary at Bhavan's Jyotisha Bharati, Mumbai. Every calculation rule and interpretation on this platform comes directly from his expertise — not a generic algorithm.

The Numerology System
07 What is Chaldean numerology? +

Chaldean numerology is the oldest numerological system, originating in ancient Babylon. Unlike other systems, it assigns values based on sound vibration rather than alphabetical sequence. It uses a 1–8 chart — the number 9 is considered sacred and left unassigned to any letter.

08 How is Chaldean different from Pythagorean numerology? +

Chaldean uses a 1–8 vibrational chart and works primarily with your popular or used name — the name you are known by. Pythagorean uses a sequential 1–9 chart based on your full legal birth name. AstroSeemant uses Chaldean as the primary system. Certain sections — Karmic Lessons, Balance Number, Hidden Passion — use Pythagorean silently, with a transparency note in your report.

09 What are master numbers, and why do they matter? +

11, 22, and 33 are master numbers. They are never reduced further — 11 stays 11, not 2. They carry amplified spiritual energy and represent a higher octave of their base number. Preserving them correctly is one of the most important — and most commonly mishandled — aspects of numerological calculation.

10 What is a Life Path Number? +

Your Life Path Number is derived from your full date of birth — day, month, and year digits are summed and reduced to a single digit (or preserved as a master number). It represents your core life journey, your inherent strengths, and the overarching theme of this lifetime.

11 What is a Soul Urge Number? +

The Soul Urge Number — also called the Heart's Desire — is calculated from the vowels in your name (A, E, I, O, U). It reveals your deepest inner motivations: what you truly want, often beneath what you consciously acknowledge. Many find it the most personally resonant of all core numbers.

12 What is an Expression Number? +

The Expression Number (also called Destiny Number) is calculated from all the letters in your full name, each mapped to its Chaldean value. It reflects your natural talents, abilities, and the way you express yourself to the world — what you are capable of becoming.

Tools & Usage
13 Can I check multiple names in one order? +

Yes. Both the Baby Name Checker and Company Name Checker let you enter multiple names in a single session. You pay per name, and all results come back ranked best to worst in one unified report — with the top pick clearly highlighted.

14 What is the difference between Birth Name and Popular Name? +

Your Birth Name is what appears on your birth certificate — the full legal name. Your Popular Name is what you are known by in daily life, which may be a shortened form or nickname. In Chaldean numerology, both matter: the birth name carries karmic imprints while the popular name shapes your current energy.

15 What makes a mobile number good or bad numerologically? +

A mobile number is considered favourable when its derived numerological value is compatible with your core numbers — Life Path, Birthday Number, and Expression Number. AstroSeemant uses a two-step derivation rule, checks core compatibility first, then friendship scores. The full working is shown in your report so you understand exactly why.

16 How do I check a vehicle registration number? +

Enter your full Indian registration number (e.g. MH02AB1234). AstroSeemant automatically extracts the 4-digit series, derives values from the last 3 and last 2 digits, then checks compatibility with your personal core numbers. Both MH and BH series formats are supported.

17 How is a flat or house number analysed? +

For apartments: the unit number is extracted (floor prefix is removed), reduced, and compared to your Life Path and Birthday numbers. For standalone bungalows: the full name or number string is converted letter-by-letter via the Chaldean chart, summed, and reduced before checking compatibility.

18 How is a bank account or locker number analysed? +

All letters in the account number are first converted via the Chaldean chart. Short numbers (fewer than 4 characters) are reduced directly and checked against your core numbers. Longer numbers use a two-step 2/3 derivation rule — the same method used for mobile numbers — before compatibility matching.

19 What does the Compatibility Report cover? +

The Compatibility Report analyses two people across three modes: Marriage, Friendship, and Business. It includes a colour-coded 6×6 compatibility grid, strongest and most challenged number pairs, and — for business — a partner boost analysis. Certain toxic number combinations (1-6, 2-8, 3-4) are flagged with a clear override warning regardless of overall score.
